The auction is for a PRC352 20Watt VHF FM Manpack set, C/W ALL NEW OR AS NEW GRADE 1 AUDIO GEAR AND ANTENNA'S, PLUS AN AS NEW 4Ah NICAD RECHARGEABLE BATTERY. The radio cosmetically is in AS NEW GRADE A1 PERFECT condition and appearance, It has been tested and is in perfect working order. It is mounted on a NEW GS CARRYING FRAME AND ADAPTER PLATE COMPLETE WITH NEW HARNESS/CARRYING STRAPS. It has attached an AS NEW 20 Watt RF AMPLIFIER  (Grade A1) and an AS NEW 24v HAND CRANK GENERATOR (Grade A1) & 1.1 Ah RECHARGEABLE BATTERY.  The 4 Watt SURF unit is used and has been tested and works perfectly, it is the best cosmetically I have at the moment. This set was used for ground to ground communications, mobile and fixed, and was the main unit for the infantry. It was the backbone of infantry communications on and off the battlefield. It has a good range across open countryside. It covers 30Mhz to 75.975Mhz with 25Khz channel spacing and 4 Watts output (or 20W with amp on and into an antenna system, GSA etc). The headset, pressel box and lead along with the handset are all NEW OR AS NEW GRADE 1, ALONG WITH THE ANTENNAS. There are 2 antennas, a 4 section 1.2m folding steel whip and a 0.65m flexible rubber whip.
