This auction is for a PRC351 VHF FM Manpack set AND VEHICLE CLIP-IN BRACKET. C/W hand set and a whip antenna. The radio cosmetically is GRADE A1 condition after being reconditioned and refurbished by an MOD contrctor. It has been tested and is in perfect working order. It is mounted on a NEW GS CARRYING FRAME AND USED ADAPTOR PLATE WITH NEW STRAPS AND BACK PADS. It also has a Grade A1 (NOS 5Ah)  Nicad battery.THIS IS THE SET-UP MOST OFTEN FOUND IN THE LAND ROVER GS AND GP TRUCKS, NON FFR VEHICLES. This set was used for ground to ground communications, mobile and fixed and was the main unit for the infantry. It was the backbone of infantry communications on and off the battlefield. It has a good range across open countryside. It covers 30Mhz to 76.975Mhz with 25Khz channel spacing and 4 Watts output. 

THIS SET HAS NOT BEEN REISSUED SINCE LEAVING THE MOD COTRACT REPAIR SYSTEM IN LATE 2004
