THIS AUCTION IS FOR A FULL PRC 352 MANPACK CLIP IN INSTALLATION FOR LAND ROVER FFR, GS and GP Trucks. THESE UNITS WERE THE BACKBONE OF THE BRITISH INFANTRY SUPPLYING BATTLEFIELD AND MOBILE VEHICLE COMMUNICATIONS. THE UNIT IS VERY VERSATILE AND ABLE TO WORK FROM ANWHERE AT ANY TIME.

The GS Carrier mounting bracket, bolts into vehicle.

A used GS carrying frame, straps and harness with the correct adapter plate for a PRC 351/2

A NEW newly charged 5 Ah NiCad battery.

A working and tested 20W RF amplifier.

A working and tested PRC 351 Radio.

A 4W SURF unit (Selector Unit RF) tuning unit with BNC connecting cable.

A connecting cable RF, radio to amp.

A 4 section folding steel whip antenna, 1.2m.

A trailing wire antenna 1.2m.

A NEW headset with boom mic & A USED pressl switch.

This setup has just been tested and inspection and is working fine. It is bang on spec across it's full working range 30Mhz to 75.975Mhz inclusive at a full 4 watt output. The amp is fine and outputs 20 to 22.5 watts into a dummy load or an antenna. The SURF matcher unit works fine as expected. I have a testing unit for the head and hand sets and both show that they are working fine in all modes.

This unit will fit into any vehicle, if it isn't an FFR and you want it to work correctly, you will need  an INITIATE box, a TUAAM (Tuning Unit Automatic Antenna Matcher),  TUAAM mounting box, antenna mount and a 2m whip antenna, plus a 12 or 24 volt DCCU charging unit and cables to suit your vehicle. I can supply these at a negotiable cost.
