This auctio is for a UK RT 344 - PRC344 UHF Manpack set. The radio is fair to good in appearance. It has been tested and is working OK AND ON SPEC@ 2WATT AM OUTPUT, comes with a serviceable NOS and charged NiCad battery. This set was used mainly for ground to air support or air recon. A few selected units used it for ground to ground coms. It covers 220Mhz to 399.950Mhz AM in 50Khz channel spacing. This is the military air band and is still widely used so there are many military sites to listen out for. 

                               This setup weighs in at a little over 12Kg when packaged
